Day 1:Arrival-Kigali

On arrival into Kigali off your international flight, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Flame Tree Cottages for an overnight stay with breakfast included.

Day 2: Kigali – Park National des Volcanoes

After a morning cup of coffee, your private, Set off on an excursion to see one of the Genocide Memorial sites, and then drive 2 ½ north in your comfortable, private 4×4 vehicle to Park National des Volcanoes. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge inclusive of all meals.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking –Volcanic lakes

Make an early start for the Parc National des Volcans, where you will do your first gorilla trek. You are met by staff from Park Headquarters at 7 am and briefed on conduct during gorilla tracking. The trackers then lead you into the forested slopes to seek one of the groups of Mountain gorillas. Reaching the gorillas can be quick, or it can take a few hours. Return for lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon visit the panoramic twin volcanic lakes of Burera and Ruhondo.

Day 4:  Volcanoes National Park – Kigali (drive) – Nairobi (flight)

Road transfer from Parc National des Volcanoes back to the Kigali Airport in time to check in for the Kenya Airways flight to Nairobi. On arrival into Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to the Palacina Suites Hotel for a night stay with breakfast included.

Day 5:  Masai Mara Game Reserve

Road transfer to the domestic airport for light aircraft to the Masai Mara Game Reserve to stay 3 nights at Kicheche Mara Camp inclusive of all meals, picnics, local drinks (excluding champagne), unlimited game-viewing drives, escorted bush walks, conservancy fees and laundry. Full day game drives to allow you to discover the Mara North Conservancy, which borders the Masai Mara and its extraordinarily rich wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Kicheche Mara Camp.

Day 6 & 7:  game drives in Masai Mara

During these two days, enjoy game drives in the world renowned Masai Mara, where plains game, predators and birdlife are abundant in a quintessential African savannah setting.

Day 8  Masai Mara – Nairobi – depature

You will be transferred to Nairobi – Kenya Airport to check in for your flight back home.
